With reference to your Despatch No. 316

of the 26th. August last and my telegram of the 10th. instant,

I have the honour to inform you that Miss Abraham, who is en-

gaged to be married, has given notice of her intention to re-

sign her post as Nursing Sister in three months from the 6th.

I enclose the usual paper of particulars

relative to the post, and have to request you to be so good

as to take steps to appoint a successor, who should arrive in

the Colony not later than the 6th. February next.
